Somatic CBT

When stress, anxiety, or negative thought patterns take over, it’s often not just in the mind, it’s in the body too.

Somatic CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) combines traditional CBT tools with body-based practices to help shift patterns of overthinking, emotional reactivity, and internal overwhelm. In these sessions, we don’t just look at what you’re thinking , we explore how those thoughts live in the body.

Together, we’ll gently track sensations, emotions, and responses as they arise, helping you understand the connection between what you think, how you feel, and how your body reacts.

You’ll learn tools to interrupt loops of anxiety, regulate your nervous system, and respond to life from a place of greater clarity and calm. Over time, you may find yourself feeling more choiceful, less reactive, and more at ease in your skin.

This approach is especially helpful if you tend to “know” what’s happening intellectually but still feel stuck in how you react or feel.

It’s about integrating insight with embodiment, so change becomes something you can feel, not just think about.
