Somatic EMDR

Some experiences live in the body long after the moment has passed , showing up as anxiety, emotional reactivity, shutdown, or a sense of being stuck.

Somatic EMDR is a trauma-informed approach that combines traditional EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) with body-based awareness. We use gentle, bilateral stimulation (like eye movements, tapping, or breath) alongside somatic tracking to help process unresolved memories and shift how they live in your system.

This work is especially helpful when you can’t think your way out of something, when you understand the past, but it still affects how you feel, react, or relate.

In sessions, we follow your body’s lead. You’ll stay connected to the present while we safely access and integrate past experiences, without needing to relive them in full. We focus on building safety and stability before working with any difficult material.

Clients often report feeling clearer, lighter, and more emotionally free, like something has loosened that was stuck for a long time.

This work can support trauma healing, anxiety reduction, and a deeper sense of self-trust.
