Somatic Attachment Therapy in Kings Langley | Embodied Being
You may long for closeness, yet find yourself pulling away. Or feel so concerned about losing connection that your own needs become hard to hear.
Somatic Attachment Therapy explores how your experiences of connection have shaped the way you relate, to yourself and to others. We bring attention to how these patterns show up in the body: holding your breath, bracing against closeness, feeling restless, or shutting down.
Together, we’ll gently notice what happens when you reach for support, express a need, or set a boundary. Through conversation, body awareness, and simple guided practices, we’ll explore what helps you feel more grounded and supported, at a pace that feels manageable for you.
This work may be helpful if you struggle with trust, fear rejection, find yourself people-pleasing, or lose touch with yourself in relationships. There’s space to understand these responses with compassion, recognising the ways you’ve learned to protect yourself.
Over time, the aim is to build greater self-trust, clearer boundaries, and more choice in how you connect. To make room for closeness while staying connected to yourself.
A space to explore being with others, and still being you.
